Resurfacing project on U.S. 36 begins next week

On Sunday, May 6th, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will begin a resurfacing project on US 36 between I-25 and Pecos Street and on Broadway (State Highway 224) under US 36.

Colorado Center Pedestrian/Bicycle Bridge Project anticipated to begin construction in 2013

The Colorado Center Pedestrian/Bicycle Bridge will provide greatly needed improved pedestrian and bicycle access over Interstate 25 in the vicinity of Colorado Boulevard and East Evans Avenue in Denver. The bridge, an arch‐type structure with access ramps on each end, will span I-25, landing at Cherry Street to the north and RTD’s Color ado Station (light rail transit) to the south.

Trip travel times to DIA now posted along I-70

The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is now displaying trip travel times to Denver International Airport along eastbound Interstate 70, from Hidden Valley to Wheat Ridge, in an effort to provide improved traveler information to motorists.

RTD Board approves updated FasTracks Plan

 

The Regional Transportation District (RTD) Board of Directors on Tuesday voted unanimously to approve the 2012 FasTracks Financial Plan as well as the staff’s recommended “hybrid option” for the Northwest Corridor, which would build rail and bus rapid transit (BRT) in the Northwest service area in a phased timeframe. The vote was 14 – 0, with Board Member Larry Hoy not in attendance.
